On average, twenty typhoons hit the Philippines every year. As a developing country, it will be hard to stand up again after a catastrophic typhoon. In spite of this, the resiliency of Filipinos always prevails. In times of calamities and catastrophes, Filipinos always manage to rise above the challenge. Instead of wallowing, they manage to pick themselves up and smile.

Education is very expensive. A normal family would have a hard time in keeping their child in school. The family often do anything just to keep their child in school like borrowing money from their relatives, neighbors, and friends. That is why Filipino students work hard to pay back all the people that helped him or her in pursuing his or her dream. Filipino always have this kind of thinking, “When I graduate I will surely help uplift this family”.
